Sibur IFRS net profit jumps 50% to 76.43 bln rbl in April–June
MOSCOW, Jul 29 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian petrochemical holding Sibur increased 50% on the year to 76.43 billion rubles in April–June, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a report on Thursday.
The adjusted net profit soared 15 times to 62.83 billion rubles.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) more than doubled on the year to 96.5 billion rubles.
In January–June, Sibur's net profit amounted to 119.244 billion rubles after a net loss of 4.47 billion rubles in the same period of 2020. EBITDA more than doubled to 169.975 billion rubles.
The net debt fell 17% in January–June to 334.689 billion rubles.
